1 Corinthians 15:53
For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us that is capable of dying] must put on immortality [which is freedom from death]

They do not want Christ: 1 Corinthians 15:50 (KJV)
They reject immortality as an inheritance through Christ, they want to live or die as a mortal: 1 Corinthians 15:53 (KJV)
There strength is to sin, rebel in the law: 1 Corinthians 15:56 (KJV)
They reject victory, which is through Christ, to leave sin: 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)
They are defeated and defend death and it’s sting: 1 Corinthians 15:55 (KJV)
